Purpose and Scope
South Carolina public-record access can involve more than one custodian. FCSO operates the county custody tools and handles its own record requests. The South Carolina Department of Corrections has a separate locator for people in state-prison custody. Courts hold the public case path after booking. We organize those official routes, explain their different purposes, and identify when a request is more useful than a live roster. No booking-photo gallery is hosted here.
Information Offered
The service is designed to make the right official source easier to identify.
- The official custody, booking-record, and court lookup path for Florence County.
- The FCSO wanted-list and court-confirmation route on Most Wanted.
- City-specific records paths for Florence, Lake City, and Timmonsville.
- Request guidance, response-time rules, and the distinction between county and state custody.
Limits of This Service
We are privately operated and have no affiliation with a South Carolina sheriff's office, jail, corrections department, court, or other government agency. We cannot access official files, decide whether a record is public, or give legal advice.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send money for a visitor.
- We cannot advise on a case, warrant, or expungement.
- We cannot promise that every public-office detail remains current.
Only the appropriate sheriff, detention, corrections, or court office can confirm an official status, charge, release, or record.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those providers set their own terms, prices, and results. If a visitor chooses a paid product through one of those tools, we may receive a referral fee that helps support the service. We do not control partner results or charges.
